Kelsey received her Masters of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Prior to joining Monte Nido Manhattan she has worked in a variety of mental health agencies, most recently providing therapy to adolescents at a school-based program in Brooklyn. Kelsey brings warmth and curiosity to her work. With compassion and humor, Kelsey strives to create a safe space in which she can collaborate with those facing the often overwhelming challenge of recovery and making a home in one’s body. Kelsey endeavors to support and challenge people to enliven their potential and forge a way out of the problematic cycles in which they inevitably find themselves. As a social worker, she takes a particular interest in understanding the individual in the context of their environment.
